Join us Monday, July 4th for our
36th Anniversary Independence Day Celebration!

The fun starts MONDAY, July 4th at 4 p.m. at Municipal Park (325 McCullers Drive) with free family events on the field, basketball competitions, watermelon and ice cream giveaways, a hose down by the Clayton Fire Department and live music by the The North Tower Band! Also look out for food vendors, a cornhole tournament, inflatables and fair rides, bingo and raffles throughout the night. The fireworks shoot off at dark with increased seating area and added bleachers.  Plus, new this year, the live music, inflatables and rides will run another half hour after the show. That way, you can have more fun instead of sitting in traffic. Views of the fireworks from locations like Town Square and Horne Square (where you may have watched from in the past) will be obscured this year. If you want to see all the fireworks - more shells than we've ever had before - and have all the fun, you've got to be at Municipal Park on July 4!!  Scroll down or click here to see the full schedule and map of events.  Scroll down or click here to see the Clayton Police plan to get you home as quickly and safely as possible. There will be HANDICAP parking at Municipal Park - please come down Stallings street and speak to a police officer directing traffic. The officer will allow you through to the handicap parking on site. Street parking is available throughout downtown along all residential streets and public parking lots, we just ask that you do not block driveways. Click here to see the street closures.
