HUGE Economic Advantages Scored for Town of Clayton, Johnston County & NC!
Novo Nordisk executive, Gary Lohr congratulates Town leaders
It's OFFICIAL! Clayton was chosen as the location for a $1.85 billion economic investment by diabetes pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk. They will build a 200,000 sq-ft facility to manufacture the diabetes products in the U.S. for the first time. This brings nearly 700 jobs - A BOOST to Clayton and Johnston County!

Clayton Loses Compassionate Leader
Saving lives. Consoling when lives were lost. Showing compassion at every step. Jim McLaurin devoted his life to comforting families in Clayton at their time of greatest need. Now, it's the family of this devoted public servant and former Citizen of the Year who needs comforting. The 77-year-old community leader died on Sunday, August 30, 2015 after a lengthy illness. His family was by his side.
